Advanced Placement/Dual Credit Course Information

Chapin High School offers a variety of college preparatory Advanced  Placement courses as well as a growing number of El Paso Community College dual credit courses.

Freshmen are eligible to consider Advanced Placement classes beginning their first year at Chapin. More course offerings become available as students advance. There are prerequisites  for some courses as well as necessary qualifying test scores and deadlines, so students need to stay in contact with their guidance counselors to obtain recent course information and requirements.

To date, all Pre-AP and AP English classes as well as the AP US History and AP Chemistry classes have summer assignments. Those assignments can be found on the SUMMER READING page, teacher sites, in the Guidance Office, and in the POLICY & DOWNLOADS section of this website.

Included below are a growing list of links for your information.
